Austen Menges

I help video editors create emotionally impactful edits that land higher-paying work. For years, I edited non-stop and couldn't land a gig. That changed when I met a mentor who taught me that great editing isn’t about technical skill. It’s about emotional storytelling. Once I made that shift, I booked my first broadcast TV commercial and built a 20+ year career from there. Since then, I’ve: • Made $1M from editing before I turned 30 • Consulted on a hit Hollywood movie starring Tom Holland and Will Smith • Edited Oscar-winner Matthew McConaughey • Cut a Super Bowl commercial • Won multiple advertising awards This channel is where I show you how to create emotionally impactful edits that land higher-paying, creatively fulfilling projects.
