Unsplice

Have your video editing rates plateaued? Sick of being told to just keep practising? I'm Shiny, an Emmy®-nominated documentary and commercial editor with 15+ years cutting for BBC, VICE, TikTok and YouTube Originals. When I was intermediate, I spent £295 on a weekend course called 'How To Cut Like A Pro' hosted by two A-list editors. I wanted their storytelling secrets but they only shared workflow. Annoyed that no editor could explain what storytelling in editing ACTUALLY meant, I started documenting every editing decision that clients loved and got me repeat bookings. That list is the basis of everything you'll learn here. I'm sharing it so you can charge £300-£500/day as an editor 7 years faster than it took me. BTW, you can get feedback on your editing/portfolio from me. I give feedback to 4 submissions every month for FREE. You'll learn storytelling frameworks and portfolio tactics to get more yes's and boost your income. Submit here: https://bit.ly/unsplice-edit-review-yta
