The name comes from years in the Nevada desert. Every morning, 4am, driving into the dark before the sky changed. Then down into the mines. Nothing in any direction — no city, no noise, no home. That kind of absence does something to you. It's where the music started. Most club music hits the body first. This finds you somewhere else: melody before groove, feeling before floor. Made for 4am and empty roads. Real instruments, all played live — xiao, shakuhachi, guqin, guzheng, Andean moseño and pinkillo. On Enormous Tunes, Cafe De Anatolia and Vasa Records. Support from ARTBAT, Richie Hawtin and Korolova. 6M+ streams, 20+ countries. For everyone carrying a place that no longer exists. This is the frequency of the road.
