About
A Pitch Black Joint is an independent storytelling studio founded by filmmaker and multimedia creator A. King. This channel is home to original films, cinematography, visual experiments, field notes, and the process of carrying ideas from curiosity to completion, shaped by what it means to create and move through the world in a marginalized body. Some projects are narrative, documentary, commercial, or experimental. Others are still taking shape. Together, they explore how stories, images, technology, memory, movement, and lived experience shape how we understand ourselves and one another. Here you’ll find finished work, projects rescued from the vault, Light Seeker cinematography, creative development, and The King Wuz Here field notes, rooted in Portugal and extending wherever the work takes us. These are stories worth starting and work worth finishing. Vim, vi, vivi. Deixo-vos isto.
