About
Kathryn Jeanette is a formally trained musician, with a flair for the creative. A love for jazz transitioned into other genres as she grew and experienced an eclectic combination of artists. Black Window is an album full of reverent self reflection, hopeful dreaming, and realistic conversation. A solid foundation of musicality, melody, and rhythm, intermixes with the nostalgia of classic pop. Kathryn’s original and unique voice floats above the notes, longing for something just out of reach. At other times it is full and powerful, filling the sound with a robust confidence. The culmination of which, is a celebration of embracing ‘self’; past, present, and future.
