Review vlog editing portfolios
Review continuity, pacing between scenes and the way the editor turns separate moments into a coherent story. Compare examples relevant to sports rather than judging a candidate from a single highlight reel.
Prepare a freelance editing brief
Describe your sports audience, the footage available, the intended video length and the publishing schedule. Share reference videos that show the vlog approach you want. Agree deliverables, revision rounds and turnaround before starting.
Confirm the new york working arrangement
Ask about availability, communication hours and how footage and drafts will be shared and reviewed. Rates are agreed directly with the editor.
