I'm fairly new to YouTube scriptwriting, having only started in May 2024. I imagine you're probably thinking "Why hire this guy? He hasn't been doing it very long, he probably doesn't know what he's doing." And that would be a reasonable concern to have. But although I only started scriptwriting recently, I've been working as a freelance writer in other areas for several years and have been writing stories since I was young. My experience in other areas of writing has helped me develop strong researching skills and honed my understanding of storytelling. Both of which are hugely valuable skills in YouTube scriptwriting. And I believe these skills have been evident in my scriptwriting work as the creators I have worked with have seen substantial increases in engagement and watch time on the videos I've worked on. Outside of writing, my interests include music, films/tv, books, travel, food, sports, and gaming. I'd love the opportunity to work on scripts in these areas, but my strong research skills enable me to produce high quality scripts on any topic, regardless of whether it is one of my personal interests or not.
