I’m Patrick Rippman, a video editor and filmmaker based in Atlanta, GA, with over 15 years of professional experience and 8 years of formal film education, graduating with a B.F.A. in Film & Television in 2012. I’ve led hundreds of productions end to end—from concept through final cut, handling each stage of the production lifecycle with a focus on video editing. As the founder of Outer Frame Productions I began freelancing in 2009, collaborating with brands, organizations, and individuals to deliver story-driven content including documentaries, events and weddings, narrative work, music videos, short films, and more. Over the course of my career—I’ve developed a proven skillset for shaping the most engaging narrative from raw footage, balancing cinematic pacing with refined structure to deliver the most impactful edit. During my time managing the video marketing for Peacock Automotive and later Diablo/Freud Tools, I produced over a decade of polished videos spanning branded marketing, educational content, event coverage, and short-form social content for multiple clients, NPOs, and industries. I’m skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and Cinema 4D, with expertise in sound design, color, motion graphics, 3D, and VFX workflows.
