About
Creative and skilled videographer, editor and storyteller. I have worked in news for 5 years, shooting and editing hundreds of stories that have been watched by millions live on TV and later on youtube. I have won 2 Emmys and have been nominated for 6. One of those nominations being Videographer of The Year. Currently doing freelance work while running my company Charby & CO - Photo and Video. My wife and I own the business (she does the photos and I do the video) working with brands, but mainly doing weddings. I have a bachelors degree in Communications and Journalism with an Emphasis in Creative Multimedia and a minor in Film Studies. Through my studies and 8 years of experience in video/editing, my skills span far and wide. Working on a variety of news story topics and other special projects throughout the years I have a keen ability to tell create a video that is story driven, but also very visually, effectively, artistically and uniquely told. After all those years in news, constantly facing a deadline to make slot, I work well under tight deadlines and high pressured situations. I am an AVID watcher of YouTube, definitely the media I intake the most. I have created many videos of my own throughout the years, just unwilling to post them - so instead I would rather WORK ON YOURS.
