I design YouTube thumbnails and social graphics for sports content as well as various other types of media. For five years I was the designer on theScore's digital content team, where I made thumbnails weekly across the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, EPL, and College Football, and we grew the channel from 55K to over 250K subscribers. I A/B tested thumbnail variants on every single video we published. That's the part I actually care about — not just making something that looks good, but knowing which version won and why. Face crops, contrast, how much text is too much, when a clean thumbnail beats a busy one. Five years of testing on a sports channel teaches you things you can't get from a style guide. Ten years in design overall, Photoshop and Illustrator, plus an independent sports branding practice I've run since 2014. I'm available for freelance, contract, or full-time work, remote or relocating. If you're running a sports or news channel and your CTR isn't where you want it, that's the problem I'm best at.
