About
Hello! My name is Akira and I am a creative professional hailing from Columbus, Ohio. My passion lies in visual storytelling, carefully crafting narratives through film and video. Over the last 6 years, I have dedicated much of my time to creating short films, micro-documentaries, music videos, promotional videos for clients, and much more. My experience includes directing, producing, writing, editing, and filming, as well as prop management, set design, and art direction. While a student at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, I held several short-term contract jobs through the University, in addition to internships and part-time video work in various departments. I was President of the student-led video production organization, AVW Productions, from 2022-2023, in which I oversaw all productions from start to finish.
