Nicki Nilla

Official portfolio at www.nickinilla.com -- With over 1 million views on YouTube and 4 million views on TikTok, my editing style has consistently delivered online success by honing into a refreshing take on audience engagement. I excel at connecting viewers to the authentic personalities of on-screen talent, avoiding flashy sequences in favor of a narrative through-line that captures the emotional journey of any moment. As a rapidly rising video editor, I bridge the gap between personality, story, and retention in a quickly evolving digital media world. I’m Nicki (she/they), a queer video editor and designer with a deep passion for storytelling across many mediums. Over the last 15 years, I’ve studied film production, game dev, illustration, 3D modeling, writing, styling, and music production, cultivating a holistic skill set that sets me apart from traditional editors. In the outbreak of the Pandemic, I began documenting my life on YouTube and Twitch, where I connected with many of my first clients in the LGBTQIA+ community. Today, from my home in Long Beach, I’m excited to collaborate with inclusive clients coming from diverse comedic backgrounds. I specialize in editing comedy talk shows, intros, and trailers, drawing from my extensive experience in live gaming.
