About
Hello! My name is Preston and I’m a Videographer and Editor based in California. For the last 8 years, I’ve leveraged video production to create commercial, entertainment, and educational content for clients across the nation. I have experience growing leads, retention rates, and social channels individually and in collaboration. More on my background; as the Lead Videographer and Editor at SportRx, I organized and led shoots for companies such as Oakley, Ray-Ban, Maui Jim and many other major eyewear brands. I worked directly with athletes across California to create documentaries, YouTube reviews, and media for e-commerce landing pages. I edited projects using the traditional workflow of Premiere, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve, while maintaining and delegating our production equipment. As an Assistant Colorist at Company 3, I was responsible for technical repairs and renders on some of Hulu, HBO, and Netflix’s most current shows. I worked primarily in DaVinci Resolve and Avid Media Encoder and have experience with nearly every codec on the market today. All of these projects required collaborative editing techniques, allowing me to develop habits and file structures which align with most editors within the industry.
