Hi there! I’ve been working for Society Media for nearly 5 years now, with prior content experience and a degree in digital cinema. I specialize in comedy editing and general video production. I have plenty of experience solo and working with a team. I’ve worked on 99% of the videos on the Microwave Society channel. I've also made nearly all MWS thumbnails and titles (including A/B versions). My editing strengths are: - Pacing: Especially when working with comedy material. Sticking to the meat of the video and hiding the vegetables when needed. - Audio: It’s 51% of the video. Dialogue, music, and sound design mixed to industry standards. - Multicam: Getting everything synced, graded, and cutting to the rhythm of what’s happening in the video. - Visuals: Making sure text and graphics are legible and fit the videos tone. - Effects: Adding a little extra spice to engage viewers further with interesting filters, VFX, and transitions. - Gen Z/internet humor: If the project calls for it, I can give the video heavy s***post energy. My editing weaknesses are: - Gaming content, I don’t consume it much and would be behind the meta for this style of video. - Motion graphics, I know the basics to make text stand out but full infographic videos aren’t my style Software experience: DaVinci Resolve Studio (my preferred suite) Adobe After Effects Adobe Premiere Pro If you have questions about my production, camera, or thumbnail work reach out!
