Lewis Smith

My name is Lewis Anthony Smith. I am an aspiring filmmaker, director and editor based in Leicester, United Kingdom. Having just graduated from three years of film school ('Screen and Film School Birmingham'), I'm now looking for some part-time work as a video editor to flesh out my skills and gain further experience. I also intend to collaborate with some unique talent, and provide them with content that's both edited and executed to a high standard. Throughout the past three years, I've had the opportunity to edit together a number of different short films, trailers and promotional videos (please refer to portfolio). I would now like to transfer these skills over to content creating, and support/help other creators to deliver engaging videos for their channel. Experienced with programs such as 'Adobe Premiere Pro'. • Creative imagination; good at thinking outside the box. • Excellent spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills. Personal Skills: • Dedicated and persistent with work. • The ability to work overtime if needed. • Able to quickly learn new skills. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Able to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and multitask. • Good communication skills. • An eye for creativity and detail.
