Hi! Telling a good story, something very complicated. You prepare a script, a storyboard, record all your A-roll and B-roll. You get ready to edit, but realise there are many problems that arise and don't know how to solve them. That is what storytelling and in extension video editing is for me. Problem-solving. My name is Edou Hoekstra, I'm a 22 year old filmmaker from the Netherlands that mainly works as a freelance editor. I have extensive experience in narrative and corporate filmmaking and have edited lots of projects in various niches. I have advanced software knowledge that will probably go beyond any other editor on this platform. Yes, I am that confident in my knowledge and skills because next to editing for others I also make tutorials on how to use editing software for other creatives. If you have a story to tell, I am ready to edit it into a cinematic, cohesive movie in any style that is required!
