Jason Shumway

I am Jason Shumway, and I am a Geek. Some may think that is an insult, but I think that it is a badge of honor. Let me explain. Geeks are a smart group of people who have obsessive personalities. They love learning. Not just learning facts here and there but learning every little piece of information about a subject. Look at the comic book Geeks, the Star Trek Geeks, or the car geeks: their love of their subject goes beyond just interest; it’s obsession. I am a Film and TV Geek! I am a professional film and TV editor with 25 year of broadcast experience. I have worked for NBC, Paramount, MTV, and many smaller production companies. I have the skills and passion to make your project anything that you want it to be! My extensive technical knowledge, particularly with Avid Media Composer, Protools, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe Premiere, allows me to bring sought-after efficiency to my work. I have a deep understanding of how these tools interact with new media, enabling me to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality results. I am a Geek, and I am the Geek you need.
