Gabriel Pimenta

Gabriel Pimenta Ferreira is a Brazilian video editor and Cinema & Audiovisual student from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. His main expertise is documentary editing, where he focuses on storytelling, pacing, and audience retention, but he is also comfortable editing YouTube videos, promotional content, short-form social media videos, and narrative films. He has professional experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve, working on everything from documentaries and short films to educational and marketing content. During his internship at IPECO, he has been responsible for recording classes, editing videos and images, and managing live broadcasts of ophthalmic surgeries for an online learning platform. Gabriel is passionate about post-production and enjoys crafting stories through editing. His background extends beyond editing into directing, screenwriting, VFX, and motion graphics, giving him a broad understanding of the entire filmmaking process. At university, he co-founded an audiovisual production group and helped produce the award-winning documentary "Entre Sonhos e Barracos," which won first place at his university's short film festival.
