I'm a video editor who cares about one thing: keeping people watching. I edit long-form YouTube content for creators, and I approach every video as a retention problem, not a decoration job. Clean cuts are the baseline. The real work is finding the story in the footage, building a hook that actually hooks, and pacing an edit so viewers stay to the end. A polished video that loses people in the first two minutes isn't a good edit, it's a wasted one. I think about the whole picture, not just the timeline. How a video is packaged, how the first minute holds attention, where people drop off and why. That's the difference between an editor who executes and one who helps a channel grow. I work with a small number of creators on purpose. It means I actually learn each person's voice and match it, instead of stamping the same style on everyone. Your channel should sound like you, sharper, not like every other channel I've touched. What I bring: strong long-form editing, retention-focused pacing, clean sound and color, purposeful text and motion where it earns its place, and short-form clips that stand on their own. Reliable with deadlines, easy to communicate with, and genuinely invested in the channels I work on.
