YouTube Video Editor & 2D Motion Designer | Long-form & Shorts | [Niche] Hi, I'm Hugo, a video editor and motion designer who works exclusively on YouTube content. Since 2023. What you get with me: - Retention-first editing: strong hooks, tight pacing, clear story structure - Motion design in-house (After Effects): animated text, explainer graphics, maps, data visuals. One person handles both the edit and the graphics. - 3D in progress: currently training in Blender, so I can add 3D elements when a video calls for it I've also taught this craft: I ran weekly live editing and motion workshops for a 4,000+ member creative community and reviewed freelancers' portfolios. So I'm used to explaining my editing choices and working with feedback. Tools: Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Blender Based in France (CET). My afternoons overlap with US East Coast mornings. Languages: French (native), English (bilingual), Portuguese Turnaround: [9] days for a [10–15] min video · [2] revision rounds included Portfolio: hugodeoliveira.com
