Laura Holliday

Hello! I'm a freelance journalist, researcher & scriptwriter primarily covering internet culture, especially where this intersects with the strange, mysterious, or esoteric. My work has appeared in various publications and on YouTube, most notably for internet detective Nexpo — where I helped to break the smartschoolboy9 case as well as cover a number of irl mysteries. As of 2025, I have also started working as a researcher for Izzzyzzz, where I help to cover stories on internet culture, viral drama including failed events and cons, aesthetics, trends and internet conspiracy theories.
