About
A Little About Myself My name is Kara Barez, a 17-year-old video editor from Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. I started editing videos in 2019 during COVID when I was 12 years old and developed a deep passion for it. Fast forward to 2025, I’m now a part-time barber working from 3:30 PM to 6 PM and attending school from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. I want to increase my income through video editing, with the goal of eventually transitioning into a full-time role. Skills • Proficient in After Effects • Experienced with creating short-form and long-form content • Quick turnaround: Can complete a video in 1–2 days depending on the length and style • Dedicated and energetic: Manage my time by taking naps and staying focused throughout the day Experience • Started editing in 2019, offering $2 Fortnite montages on Discord • Worked on Fiverr, earning $5 per edit, before Fiverr was banned in Iraq • Regularly practice editing weekly to refine my skills and stay sharp • Currently building a portfolio with practice edits Price • Free edits: Open to editing for free to build my portfolio • After 3–4 edits, I’m open to discussing small commissions based on creators’ revenue Why Work With Me? I love collaborating with passionate people and helping bring their ideas to life. If you’re a creator, big or small, I’d love to work with you. I can also provide a preview edit to showcase my skills. Let’s work together and create something amazing!
