Hey! I'm a cheerful northerner from the Arctic Circle, now living in Helsinki, Finland. I work as a Freelance Video Editor and Filmmaker, specializing in storytelling for TV, Social Media, YouTube, and DOOH. For the past four years, I worked at a production company focused on sports content. The main client was Finland’s biggest entertainment channel, MTV3. I created athlete stories with a documentary touch. Filming interviews, capturing b-roll, and creating resonant narratives in editing is truly a what I enjoy. Clients that I got to work with consisted of the greatest organisations in sports, such as NHL, IIHF, CHL, LIIGA, UEFA, FIFA, WRC, F1, NFL and FIBA. There was lots of work related traveling on-sites and daily production work for linear tv,- and on-demand broadcast services. My personal favourite travels were to be part of the NHL Global Series event twice, in Prague, 2022 and Stockholm, 2023. A special mention also is the UEFA Champion's League Finals in Istanbul, 2023. I've been also filming footage for Tootsie Blabber YouTube channel for more than 6 years now. This year I took over the editing of the videos and I've had a joy to create products for her that are made with such passion. YouTube videos have been planned to made on a weekly basis for the new comeback. I have been video editing for over 12 years, since I started my art studies in university, and professionaly for the last 6 years. Thank you for reading, Jani
