Matovu Francis

Francis Matovu is a versatile flmmaker with 10 years of experience in production, postproduction, and editing ,a memberAfrican Narrative Collective. He has attended Alison University, Adex University, and the Cinearts Masterclass. Francis has worked on notable projects, Shattered Glass (Maisha MagicMovies), Prestige (Pearl Magic Prime) Beloved (Pearl Magic Prime), Babirye ne Nakato (PearlMagic Loko), and Mistake. His work has earned him international acclaim, with Mistake winning multiple awards, including Best Short Film at the Queens Underground International Film Festival, Lens Fame International Film Festival and the Critics Choice International Film Festival. He was also a fnalist at the Crown International Film Festival and received recognit for his efforts as, Production and Post production coordinator for the Maisha Magic Film’s 2nd Best Film of 2022, “Shattered Glass”
