Over the past 5 years, I’ve worked for various NGOs, including the Washington DC-based ONE Campaign, as well as Youtube creators like Unspeakable as a professional video editor, script writer, and videographer. Being an avid YouTube watcher myself, I offer my skill set to the passionate creators that make this platform such an immersive experience. While fast-paced editing for performance, audience retention, watch time, and subscriber conversion sits at the heart of my work, I’ve also enjoyed working on slower documentary formats and other long-form content. I have a proactive approach but can also execute a flushed out vision if required. Technical Skill Set: Premiere After Effects Photoshop DaVinci Resolve for editing, motion graphics, and thumbnail creation. I’m up to date with the latest editing related AI tools as well. I employ them intentionally. While undoubtedly useful, I believe editing and virtual storytelling remains a creative process that needs a human touch.
