George Zestanakis

I am a Creative Producer and Animation Producer with more than 15 years of experience in video and digital storytelling. I served as Creative Director / Producer for The Armchair Historian, where I led a remote team of more than 60 creatives and researchers and oversaw the full production pipeline for high volume animated YouTube content. With my custom Notion animation pipeline i helped the channel to scale up to the size it is today. This experience gave me a deep understanding of the youtube landscape, story pacing, audience engagement, and consistent delivery at scale. Beyond YouTube production, I have produced 2D and 3D content for Amazon, Twitch, Tommy Hilfiger, JBL, Schiphol Airport, Siemens, and many fast moving tech startups. I spent five years at Clarify animation creating brand videos from concept to final render, which taught me how to explain complex ideas clearly and build content that feels polished and easy to follow. I recently produce animated series and support realtime workflows in collaboration with studios like DNEG and ReDefine. One of the two series is called Mythos and its an adaptation of Sir Stephen Fry's bestselling book!
