About
Hi! My name is Henry Carhart. I’m a 21-year-old self-published author based in the Bay Area, which I love, though I hope to call Colorado home someday. Storytelling has been a constant in my life, and I approach every project with genuine enthusiasm and care for the audience experience. Outside of writing, I’m deeply passionate about music; I have nearly 700 liked songs on Spotify spanning classical, punk rock, and heavy metal, which heavily influences my sense of pacing, tone, and emotional rhythm in stories. I am also completely against the use of generative AI, because I believe it takes the heart out of a story that could come from the heart.
I’ve been telling stories since childhood, starting with roleplaying Star Wars characters on my elementary school blacktop. In fifth grade (2014–2015), I realized I could put my imagination on paper, and writing quickly became a daily habit. After seeing The Force Awakens and experiencing firsthand how deeply a story could affect me, I committed fully to creating stories of my own. Since then, I’ve written multiple long-form books and countless stories of varying lengths, developing the discipline, creativity, and adaptability needed to write engaging scripts for video-based storytelling.
