I make AI-generated video ads and VSLs that don't look AI-generated. Full post ownership: generation, VO, sound design, motion graphics, pacing, grade. Script in, finished ad out with minimal notes needed. I also cut commentary and video essay content, where the job is keeping a voiceover engaging with stills, graphics, and tight pacing rather than leaning on long clips. The thing most people miss with AI footage is the tells: garbled text on labels, dead-eyed avatars, stiff hands. I track and rotoscope through those so the shot reads as real. That's most of the work, and it's the difference between footage that holds up and footage a viewer clocks as fake in two seconds.
