About
My name is Joan Miquel. I have studied Cinema in Barcelona for 4 years, and have worked in cinema since then. During my studies I have done many Short Films and Documentaries. I have edited, written and directed Award Wining Short FIlms. I have strong skills in Editing, since I have edited all of my projects, using Premiere Pro and Da Vinci Resolve. I also wrote all of my projects, being most experienced with comedy, my best suited genre. I am an avid Youtube consumer so I understand the pacing, the atmosphere and the rhythm that a video needs to be engaging, focusing mostly in the storytelling. Due to my Cinema background I can easily create a story to follow. Also, I can add a comedic twist, if it needs it. Regarding Scriptwritting, this is a position that I really enjoy. I can create clear and understundable narratives, characters and dialogs, manage the narrative tempo, etc.. I usually aproach all of my projects with a comedy tone. With this, it is easier to connect with other people, to explain a concept or just to entretain. The sense of humor, if it's needed, I can provide it.
