Dennis Golin

I'm a native New Yorker who loves cooking, comedy, playing rock music, and trivia of all kinds (I was a two-day Jeopardy champion!). After two years of research at NYU and six years in the news business, I have a keen sense for not just what is newsworthy or buzzworthy, but also the cultural and historical context behind how stories are told and who tells them. The fact that I'm a first generation American born to ex-Soviet immigrant parents has given me an unconventional lens through which to view American culture, not to mention a deeper comprehension of foreign perspectives.
