Jon Godfrey

Jonathan Godfrey is a Tulsa, Oklahoma based filmmaker and video editor whose work bridges documentary and branded storytelling. He served as the lead editor on the sports rodeo documentary From Good Stock, the first original film from Idea Ranch, which explores the heart and soul of the enduring culture of a small-town rodeo in Carbondale, Colorado. His films have also been featured on C-SPAN and PBS OETA. He has shaped a wide range of projects, from long-form documentaries to nationally broadcast commercial campaigns for clients including Folds of Honor, Fidelity Bank, Realtruck, and more. With a strong technical foundation in editing and post-production, he brings the same cinematic attention to detail to both his film work and client-driven projects, ensuring every story resonates with audiences while fulfilling the goals of promotional partners.
