I believe that making a difference in the world begins with getting a message out there, and the way to everyone's heart is through deeply personal images. The stark similarities and contrasts of our individual human experiences is something I often contemplate. There are many ways in which we as humans differ, but more ways in which we are all the same. In my photography I focus on moments that highlight the beauty of our earth, the compelling character of our built environment, and the bewitching nature of the mundane. I delight in photos of the same thing - like a simple tree - at different times of the day or in a new season. In each moment we see things as they are, forgetting they were once different and will metamorphose again. I seek out alluring scenes in my everyday life, as it continuously reminds me how fortunate I am to exist on this earth. Capturing the feeling of enchantment I carry in my heart gives me hope that my work reminds others who view it that life should be revered. I am music obsessed, travel-hungry, an avid reader, a rock climber, a self taught home cook & an abstract painter. I have edited videos for myself as well as Northguild Production and Wool Hat Creative.
