Xander Tosney

I am a Visual Effects artist and Video Editor, that is also a huge media nerd and absolutely love Films and Games. After studying Film, Television and Media Production for 4 years at School and Sixth Form, I then completed a BA Hons in VFX. My love of visual media has driven a passion for creating and editing impactful, dynamic gaming, sports, film and entertainment related content, especially in the educational and tech-focused niches, where I have gained most experience editing videos. I am developing a strong understanding of YouTube’s viewer retention strategies and how best to craft videos that keep audiences engaged. I’m inspired by many different editing styles applied by content creators such as Smii7y, Corridor crew, Sidemen, Valkrae, Star Wars Theory and are confident in implementing dynamic elements such as motion graphics, transitions, and B-roll footage. I enjoy working in a highly collaborative way, take feedback constructively, and would be extremely excited to help build a channel from the ground up.
