About
"Storytelling is the key to any form of art," and it's a principle that deeply resonates with my work as a Filmmaker and Video Editor. With eight years immersed in the world of video production, I've cultivated a passion for crafting compelling narratives from raw footage. My Fine Art background from the University of Dhaka provides a unique lens through which I approach each project, emphasising visual aesthetics and contextual understanding.
For the past four years, I've been an integral part of 'Punchforon', allowing me to specialise in documentary filmmaking while also contributing to TV commercials and fiction projects. I've had the privilege of directing and editing documentaries for numerous national and international organisations, including the International Rescue Committee (IRC), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), WaterAid Bangladesh, BBC Media Action, BRAC, and many more.
Through these collaborations, I've been able to contribute to meaningful conversations around crucial topics such as the Rohingya Crisis, Gender Equality, Salinity, Mental Health, and the rich history of Bangladesh. I am a firm believer in the power of film to educate, inspire, and drive change.
